Women's Health: Alzheimer’s Research Fund

Women account for two-thirds of the 5.7 million Americans suffering from Alzheimer’s, yet Alzheimer's outsized impact on women remains under-examined. Support research led by a clinician-scientist from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai’s Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center, focused on biomarkers for early detection of Alzheimer’s disease, with a special interest in understanding women’s increased risk and developing novel therapies.
